FAQ

General festival & screenings

  • Most screenings are at MAMM (Medellín Museum of Modern Art), with selected out-of-competition screenings at CINEPROX Las Americas.
  • Films are screened in their original languages with Spanish and English subtitles.
  • The main language of the discussions is Spanish, with consecutive interpretation to and from English when speakers do not speak Spanish.
  • Each discussion begins immediately after the film and lasts approximately 45 minutes.

TICKETS & REGISTRATION

  • Yes, all screenings and Industry Days events are free of charge. However, you must obtain a free physical ticket. You will need to present your ticket at the entrance, where it will be checked and collected by staff.
  • You need to complete an online registration form before or during the festival. In the form, you can select all the films and sessions you would like to attend.
  • No, you can attend as many screenings and events as you like.
  • No — everything is done through a single form where you can select multiple screenings and Industry Days panels.
  • After completing the form, you will receive a confirmation email with your name and selected screenings and/or Industry Days sessions. If you do not receive it, please check your spam folder.
  • Go to your confirmation link, enter your email, and add additional films or panels.
  • You must collect your ticket at the ticketing point at the venue using your email confirmation. Ticket distribution opens 2 hours before the event and closes 30 minutes before the start time. If you plan to attend several screenings in one day, you can collect all your tickets at once.
  • If you arrive within the last 30 minutes before the start, you will be placed in a waiting line. Entry will depend on seat availability.
  • Yes, you can register on-site. There will be an information desk with QR codes to access the registration form.
  • At the Information Desk located at the festival venues.

Industry Days

  • At Medellín Museum of Modern Art (MAMM), mainly on the fifth floor, with access control on the first floor.
  • Most panels will be in Spanish, with simultaneous interpretation into English via headsets, and vice versa if a speaker is presenting in English.
  • No, no credentials are required. Anyone interested is welcome.
  • Through the same registration form as for screenings. You will need to present physical tickets to attend panels. (See Tickets & Registration for more details.)
