Alternativa's team has just landed in Medellín — ready to announce the host city and the official dates of the 3rd Alternativa Film Festival during Miradas Medellín 2025 next week.

Liza Surganovа (Head of Alternativa), Andjelka Jankovic (Head of Marketing and Communications) and Polina Ovsiannikova (Executive Producer) will spend two weeks in Colombia meeting partners, filmmakers, and the media.
At Miradas Medellín, the team will host a press conference to introduce Alternativa and reveal big news — which Colombian city will host the festival in 2026 and when it will take place.

They will also attend the Macondo Awards in Medellín, celebrating the best of Colombian cinema. After their stay in Medellín, Liza and Andjelka will head to Bogotá for several days of follow-up meetings and interviews.
