Alternativa’s distribution will focus on bringing high-quality, socially relevant films from the Global South to viewers across Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. Our main channels will be streaming platforms and TV broadcasters. While our distribution model is primarily non-commercial and aimed at reach, we also seek to recoup our costs and sustain operations through values-aligned sales and licensing.
The Head of Distribution will lead the strategic and operational development of the project. Ideal candidates bring strong distribution expertise (especially in acquisitions), industry connections, negotiation skills, and a deep commitment to meaningful storytelling.
