Anand, a 30-something city dweller compelled to spend a 10-day mourning period for his father in the rugged countryside of western India, tenderly bonds with a local farmer struggling to stay unmarried. As the mourning ends, forcing his return, Anand must decide the fate of his relationship born under duress.

Kaushik Ray, producer, Cactus Pears

Kaushik is a London-based British Indian filmmaker, writer and producer. He made his directorial debut with the award-winning short film The Lime Green Shirts, a personal story about an immigrant Bengali mother and her estranged queer son that premiered at BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival. He is developing his first feature film, A Life A Rose, a multi-language love story spanning Kolkata and Paris.

Guillermo Correa Montoya, historian

Guillermo is a professor at the University of Antioquia, writer and researcher. His research focuses on sexual and gender dissidence, cultural history, memory, and labor studies, with a particular interest in how marginalized lives and underground cultural expressions shape collective memory.
