Rafaela Camelo, The Nature of Invisible Things director

Rafaela is a Brazilian director and screenwriter. In 2021, she took part in the Latin American program of Berlinale Talents. In 2023, she was selected by Variety as one of 10 Brazilian next gen talents. Her debut feature film The Nature of Invisible Things was screened at the 75th Berlinale.

Sara specializes in the protection of women and girls affected by gender-based violence, sexual exploitation, and trafficking. She was named Young Woman of the Year 2024 at the She Is Global Awards and previously received the Young Women of Talent Award from the City of Medellín (2021).
