In Bangladesh, twenty-five-year-old Saba is consumed by guilt over her paraplegic mother Shirin’s condition, stemming from an accident nineteen years ago. Saba’s life revolves around ensuring her mother’s survival, often clashing with Shirin’s longing for the simple pleasures of life, like enjoying rich food and outings, which jeopardize her health. When Shirin’s health takes a critical turn, Saba faces mounting pressure and sacrifices to secure the necessary funds for surgery. Her strict control clashes with Shirin’s desires, leading to a heartwrenching decision that forces Saba to confront her deepest fears.
