#ImpactDistributionLab

Built on the program of our Impact Distribution Lab, the course brings together best practices, proven strategies, and hands-on tools for designing meaningful, change-making impact campaigns that help films and other content reach the right audiences, spark public dialogue, and lead to real positive change.

The program is designed not only for film professionals, but also for anyone interested in creating meaningful social projects, including journalists, content creators, researchers, community leaders, NGO representatives, and professionals from the creative industries and business sector.

The course offers an opportunity to learn directly from experienced impact producers, festival leaders, distributors, and educators from around the world who are rethinking how films and stories connect with audiences and communities. Among them are

● Margje de Koning, Artistic Director of the Movies That Matter Film Festival in The Hague;

● Ana Castañosa, Head of Impact Days, and Stéphane Decrey, Head of Thematic Partnerships and Advocacy at the Geneva International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights;

● South African impact producer and dcumentary filmmaker Miki Redelinghuys;

● Carlos Gutiérrez, Co-founding Executive Director of New York–based Cinema Tropical.

Of eight modules of the course, four are available exclusively in Central Asia. Each module features short video lectures and additional resources, and the Course Journal helps you build your own impact campaign step by step as you learn. The program is delivered in English, with video subtitles available in English, Russian, and Spanish. Fully online and self-paced, it offers flexible learning from anywhere in the world.
