How to approach markets and impact-focused events — what they have in common, where they differ, when to apply, and what questions to be ready for? You’ll also learn what’s important to communicate to the potential partners of your impact campaign at events like FIFDH Impact Days, Take on Impact at Movies that Matter, Dokumentale, and more.

Ana mentions Impact Application Checklist and Guidelines, produced by the Sundance Institute and GIPA, as a practical blueprint to help you prepare for submissions.

Let’s take a step back: your film is still in production or post-production. This is the moment to start designing your festival strategy and your impact campaign. What are the key things to consider? This video will walk you through how to research markets, festivals, and impact-focused events — and how to surround yourself with your future allies from the very beginning.

Your film is ready, and you can start submitting it to festivals. But with more than 3,000 festivals worldwide, where do you begin? How do you align your festival strategy with your impact plans? In this video, Ana outlines seven key questions to help you shape the festival future of your film.

Ana deconstructs four impact campaigns, unpacking what worked and why.

How to connect with NGOs, philanthropies, and international organizations and make them your partners on the path to social change? Let’s break it down and learn to develop a clear action plan.
